The pre-school is open Monday to Friday from 9.25 am until 12.30 pm during term time (38 weeks a year).

Early Club
We offer an Early Club every morning from 9 am. Parents can choose to use this service on any or all of the days their child attends, although must commit to a half-term. Children can arrive at 9 am and will take part in organised activities focusing on self-confidence and communication skills. A charge is made for this service - see Fees below.

Fees All three and four-year-olds are funded by the Local Education Authority (from the term following their third birthday). Some two year old children are funded by the Local Authority if they meet the criteria Early Club fees are billed half-termly at a cost of £4 per morning. Fees for children who are not yet three and do not meet the criteria for two-year funding will be subject to a charge of £20 per session (for the year from Sept 2017). Fees are payable termly and cannot be refunded due to absence.

Mrs Hamill - Leader
Leading the team, Mrs Hamill has in excess of 15 years experience in all areas of early childhood care and education, holding a Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood Learning, and Level four Supervision in the Early Years; as well as extensive experience including Early Years Bush-craft and Forest school. Mrs Hamill has a passion for child lead learning and exploration through play. Outside of pre-school Mrs Hamill enjoys all aspects of outdoor life, Gardening and cooking. She has 2 Sons

Mrs Tidd – Deputy Leader/SENCO
Mrs Tidd has been working at the pre-school for 25 years and has a Level 3 CACHE Pre-school Practice and a Level 3 GNVQ in Playwork.  Mrs Tidd enjoys working with all the SEN children.  Outside of hours, she is a keen gardener – often found sowing and growing.  She has 2 grown up sons.

Mrs Dolby has worked at the pre-school for 9 years and has a Level 2 CACHE Children's Care, Learning and Development.  She enjoys engaging the children in rhyme and songs and sometimes aerobics!  She loves spending time with her family and holiday time in the sunshine!  Mrs Dolby has 3 children.

Mrs Gonnella has worked at the pre-school for 30 years.  She has ALevel 2 CACHE Children's Care, Learning and Development. She is often seen at the craft table making new and wonderful creations with the children.  Outside work she enjoys gardening and looking after her grandchildren.  She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Miss Lione has been working at the pre-school for 9 years.  She loves all things art and crafty.  Outside of pre-school, she is a very clever seamstress who when not making alterations enjoys country walks and getting lots of fresh air.  Miss Lione has 1 daughter.

Mrs Rees has been working at the pre-school for 8 years.  She enjoys setting up imaginative activities for the children and is always useful to have around as she can reach the tall shelves!  Outside of pre-school, Mrs Rees enjoys spending time with her family and days by the sea.  She has 3 children.

Policies & Procedures

The Pre-school has policies and procedures in place to ensure that the care and education we provide is of the highest standard.  A copy of the policies and procedures are given to every family.  A list of our policies can be downloaded here.  All parents will receive a policy booklet once their child is registered with the pre-school and all policies are available to view on site at any time.
